Sakarya University Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences Alumni Reunion
Alumni of the Sakarya University Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences gathered for the “Alumni Reunion and Pilaf Day” on May 24, 2025.
The event began with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Prof. Dr. Numan Çelebi. Following the opening remarks, alumni took the stage to share their memories.
As part of the program, a "pilaf festival"—held after a walk from the Turgut Özal Culture and Congress Center to the staff cafeteria—brought alumni and students together, creating a delightful atmosphere. The program continued with an ice cream festival, and a raffle for alumni awarded breakfast vouchers for four people—to be enjoyed by the winners and their guests by Sapanca Lake—to five lucky individuals.
Talk on software development held
During the reunion, a talk was also given at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences by Mustafa Köse, representing the company Masomo. Participants gained insights into topics such as the software development process, teamwork, game development, and real-time (Real-Time PvP) games. The session, which addressed questions like "Where should I start?" and "What is expected of us?", concluded with a Q&A segment.
At the end of the program, plaques of appreciation were presented to individuals who had contributed to the faculty, and a group photo was taken.
